#How required items work

When an item is marked Required, the technician cannot tap Complete job until it is filled in. The app shows the number of required items left at the bottom of the checklist and jumps to the first missing one when tapped. Required photo items need at least one photo. Required reading items need a number, but a reading outside the allowed range still counts as filled; it is flagged on the report instead.

#Skip an item with a reason

Admins can allow skipping in the template with Allow skip with reason. The technician then sees Skip on required items and must type a reason, for example “No access to attic”. Skipped items appear on the report with the reason, so the customer and the office can see what was not done.
