Install the technician app

#Phone requirements

The Fieldnote technician app runs on iPhone with iOS 16 or newer and Android 11 or newer. Keep at least 500 MB of free space for photos waiting to upload. Tablets work too. The app is free to download; the technician needs an active Fieldnote user (a paid seat) to sign in.

#Sign in for the first time

Technicians sign in with the email address their invite was sent to.

1. Open the invite email on the phone and tap Get the app.
2. Install Fieldnote Tech from the App Store or Google Play.
3. Open the app and tap Sign in with email.
4. Enter the email address and the password set from the invite link.
5. Allow notifications, camera and location when asked, so dispatch updates, photos and GPS work.
