#What works without signal

The app keeps every job assigned to the technician for today and the next 7 days on the phone, including customer details, site notes, checklists and past photos for that site. Without signal a technician can:

  • Open jobs, fill in checklists and add photos and notes.
  • Collect customer signatures.
  • Change job statuses and complete jobs.

Taking card payments needs a connection. Invoices are drafted offline and sent when the phone is back online.

#How offline work syncs

Changes are saved on the phone and sent automatically when the connection returns. A cloud icon with a number at the top of the app shows how many changes are waiting to sync. Photos upload last because they are the largest.

Never sign out with changes waiting to sync. Signing out deletes them from the phone. The app warns before it lets you sign out. If something stays stuck, see Fix technician app sync problems.
